Poem : Tattoo of the Cross
On the edge of the palm
of your right hand,
you have a tattoo of the cross,
where my fingers touch
while holding your hand.
Just like the scar remains
after the wound gets healed,
that skin of tattoo feels
like a scar of some wound.
People only see this small cross
of your tattoo!
But, whenever my fingers
touch that cross,
my mind sees you walking,
carrying your cross!
Just like putting your hand
on my shoulder often;
whenever you feel tired,
put your cross too on my shoulder!
of your right hand,
you have a tattoo of the cross,
where my fingers touch
while holding your hand.
Just like the scar remains
after the wound gets healed,
that skin of tattoo feels
like a scar of some wound.
People only see this small cross
of your tattoo!
But, whenever my fingers
touch that cross,
my mind sees you walking,
carrying your cross!
Just like putting your hand
on my shoulder often;
whenever you feel tired,
put your cross too on my shoulder!
